Almond Joy Smoothies are the healthier (vegan & dairy-free!) way to enjoy your favorite candy bar!
Happy first full day of spring!
Thank you all so much for your sweet words on the eCookbook! I can’t begin to tell you how much I appreciate it and how encouraging it is. It really means a lot! Working on this project is so much fun and it’s so exciting to see more and more people get excited about freekeh.
In case you missed it the other day, I created an eCookbook Facebook Group (The Corner Kitchen // Team Freekeh)….I’d love for you to come by and join in the fun! I’m using this group to give you a behind the scenes peak into the makings of my eCookbook, and I’ll also be posting questions and polls to get your input and advice on everything from ingredients to recipes to design.
You can join the group in one of three ways – (1) click the link above, (2) search for “The Corner Kitchen // Team Freekeh” on Facebook, 0r (3) email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll add you to the group.
At work we have a kitchen that’s filled with snacks. There’s a weekly fruit delivery (which is fantastic!), but aside from that most of the snacks are all junk. I’d say it’s dangerous, and for some people I’m sure it is, but none of it is all that appealing to me….with the exception of the mini Almond Joy Bars.
My weak spot = hit!
Try as I might, I just cannot say no. And I swear I hear those coconuty-chocolate-covered-almond-filled-logs calling my name through the blue and white wrapper.
Good news…I transformed this candy bar favorite into a healthier breakfast smoothie. These Almond Joy Smoothies are vegan & dairy-free, and combine almond milk & coconut water with a touch of cocoa powder & almond butter, for a refreshing & energizing start to the day.
